Dog Diversity ~ Seddon

142 Victoria St
Seddon 3011
http://dogdiversity.com.au/

We are drawn like magnets into Dog Diversity every time we are in Seddon. Gypsy loves this store & we buy her carob treats here, amongst other things on impulse! Dog Diversity offers the latest in stylish dog and cat products & provides their clients with up-to-date clips and accessories. It started out exclusively as a dog grooming business, but has since expanded into a retail store & training centre for dog grooming.

Like most puppies, Gypsy ripped her first bed to shreds, so we invested in an iron bed from here, which try as she might, can't destroy!

We splashed out & bought her a toy for her 10 month birthday which she has to knock about to get her treats out. Upon recommendation from a friend, we originally filled an empty plastic bottle. But now she is mastering that, it was time for an upgrade.

The Bob-A-Lot has differing levels of challenge & keeps her occupied for much longer.
How do you occupy your pet when you are at work? Gypsy is a very smart dog & requires lots of stimulus throughout the day. Though she is partial to extended naps too!

Check out Gypsy's cool Fuzzyard Space Invaders leash. Also bought at Dog Diversity. We might see you soon there ;-)

Sabroso ~ Seddon

2 Gamon St
Seddon 3011
http://sabroso.com.au/

Sabroso is definitely going to be the local place for afternoon drinks this summer.

They have a fabulous outside courtyard which has a grassed area with a range of outdoor seating (including bean bags!) to chill out on.

It must be noted that the bar stocks a wonderful pear cider! Gypsy Pear Cider is made by 2 Brothers Brewery in Moorabbin, Victoria. A crisp, sweet Melbourne cider with a fitting name!

Sabroso is a dog- friendly bar/restaurant. Not only do they have a water bowl set up in the sheltered courtyard area, the staff were very welcoming to Gypsy & she received lots of pats & hellos whilst we enjoyed an afternoon drink & light meal.

They have a fantastic tapas/ share plate menu & an amazing boutique beer & wine list. On this particular visit, we sampled the salt & pepper calamari & hand cut fries. No doubt we will return to this venue & update you with more photos of Gypsy basking in the sun whilst we drink cider & taste more tapas!

Gravy Train Cafe ~ Yarraville

 83 Gamon St
Yarraville 3013

(03) 9687 9866
Gypsy loves coming out for brunch, but when it is pouring with rain, it leaves few options for alfresco dining!

The Gravy Train Cafe in Yarraville has a wonderful front courtyard fully enclosed with heaters protecting you & your dog from the miserable weather outdoors!
It has a relaxed ambience & for some reason Gypsy always gets a lot of love & attention when we eat here. She loves meeting new people.

The sweet special ~ raspberry & white chocolate French toast was superb!

You can never really go wrong with a big breakfast, especially with home-made relish ;-)

Despite the buzz inside the cafe, the courtyard was not forgotten & service was punctual & friendly.

Don't let the rain get you down, you can still enjoy a brunch out of the house ~ with your pup!
