Gypsy wants to remind everyone that Melbourne Festival starts tomorrow!
Gypsy plans to visit the Angels and Demons Parade along Swanston St and St Kilda Rd. The parade is a jesting display in Melbourne's CBD with bold, 6m tall sculptures of devilish cherubs.
For those who love dance and particularly, Australian Dance Companies, make sure you see Assembly (6/10-8/10) at the Melbourne Recital Theatre Elisabeth Murdoch Hall Cnr Southbank Boulevard & Sturt Street
One of Australia's most innovative choreographers, Gideon Obarzanek, presents his final work as head of Chunky Move with Assembly. This is in collaboration with Victorian Opera.
An International adaption that looks particularly appealing is 'Mozart's The Magic Flute' performed by Isanga Ensemble of South Africa. This will be shown at the Arts Centre State Theatre (11/10-16/10)
